Hi there! Welcome to Gloria Dei (ABN 49 243 362 374). We create and sell children's biblical books, and we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains in plain English what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We only collect what we genuinely need to serve you. That's it.

When you place an order:

• Your name
• Your delivery and billing address
• Your email address and phone number (so we can update you on your order)
• Your payment details (see below, we never see or store your full card number)

When you join our newsletter:

• Your name and email address

When you browse our site:

• Basic technical info like your device type, browser and pages visited. This comes from cookies and helps our site work properly (more on cookies below).

Our books are made for kids, but our website is designed for parents, grandparents and carers to shop on. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, please get in touch and we'll delete them promptly.

We use your information to:

• Send you our newsletter, but only if you've signed up for it
• Answer your questions when you contact us

We'll never sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.

Payments on our site are handled by secure third-party payment providers (Square Payments). Your card details go straight to them over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number. You can read their privacy policies on their websites.

We only share your details with the folks who help us get your books to you:

• Our website provider (GoDaddy), which hosts our store and processes orders
• Payment providers, to process your payment securely
• Delivery partners like Australia Post, so your order arrives at your door
• Our email service, to send the newsletter you signed up for

Some of these providers (like GoDaddy) store data on servers overseas, mainly in the United States. By using our site, you understand your information may be handled there. We only work with reputable providers who take security seriously.

We may also share information if the law requires us to.

Our site includes videos from our own YouTube channel. When you watch these videos, YouTube (owned by Google) may collect information about you, such as your viewing activity, and may set its own cookies. This is Google's doing, not ours, and it's covered by Google's Privacy Policy. If you'd rather not share data with YouTube, you can watch the videos while logged out of Google, or skip them altogether.

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help our website remember things, like what's in your shopping cart. Our site uses:
